You can start a Monk session even when your phone isn't with you by using Apple's Shortcuts app and iCloud integration. Here's how to set it up:
Set up a personal automation shortcut
Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone and create a new shortcut that starts Monk mode with your preferred settings. Save this shortcut and give it a distinctive name like 'Remote Monk'.
Add to iCloud Drive
In the Shortcuts app, tap on the three dots (...) on your 'Remote Monk' shortcut. Select 'Share' and then 'Add to iCloud Drive'. This makes the shortcut accessible from other devices.
Create a web access point
Go to your Mac or iPad and open a web browser. Visit icloud.com/shortcuts and log in with your Apple ID. You'll see your 'Remote Monk' shortcut. You can now run this shortcut from any device by visiting this page.
Run from another device
From any web browser on any device, visit icloud.com/shortcuts, sign in, and click on your 'Remote Monk' shortcut. This will remotely trigger Monk mode on your iPhone even when it's not with you.
